Hannah Wear
Hannah’s first yoga class didn’t click with her — the class felt too slow, too “boring.” In 2009, she tried it again and found the challenging physical practice greatly benefited her college running. She gained strength, stability and mobility that helped her recover from and prevent sports injuries. As her physical practice developed, she soon found herself returning to yoga for the connection with her community and mind, body and soul.
In 2015, Hannah received her 200 hour certification from CorePower Yoga in Denver, Colorado. That summer, she started a yoga program for climbers at Denver Bouldering Club. Her classes borrow inspiration from sports-related movements and muscle groups, her eight years of power-vinyasa practice, and focused sequencing from teachers such as Tiffany Cruikshank.
On the weekends, you’ll likely find Hannah soaking in Colorado’s sunshine while biking, climbing, camping, or snowboarding.
