Madelyn is proud to be a Colorado native. After growing up along the Front Range, she lived in Durango then moved to Grand Junction in 2013 for Nursing school. Madelyn has since began her career in Grand Junction and she has fallen in love with the area due to the wonderful community and outdoor accessibility.
Madelyn is passionate about travel and culture—she will jump at any opportunity to explore. While traveling primarily in India and Nepal for five months, she received her 200 hour YTT certification in Rishikesh, India. Madelyn has been practicing yoga for about four years now and she has a deep appreciation for the philosophies behind the practice. Madelyn also enjoys the challenge and benefits of the physical asana. As a teacher, Madelyn hopes to inspire others to grow individually through the physical and mental practices of yoga.
During her time off from nursing and teaching yoga, Madelyn enjoys spending time in the mountains (especially the San Juans) climbing, trail running, skiing, and camping. Madelyn believes that Colorado sunshine, fresh air, activity, and time with friends/family/her pup (Lucy)...mixed in with lots of yoga are all essential for well being!
